Join Paula the Small, host of Paula's Picks, TONIGHT for a tribute to & in honour of the legendary Don Cornelius. She will feature music from guests inspired by and appearing on "Soul Train", the music and social commentary prototype for shows like "BET's 106 & Park" and "Yo! MTV Raps".

The Grateful Dead covered dozens of songs written by, first recorded by or popularized by black artists. They include highly recognizable musicians like Chuck Berry, Howlin' Wolf, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters and Otis Redding and songs like Dancing in the Street, Good Lovin', Johnny B. Goode, Little Red Rooster, In the Midnight Hour and Turn on Your Lovelight. The Dead played some of these songs only once, others hundreds of times.
